The following list of links will hopefully help you locate relatable services, such as publishing companies, agent listings, trade magazines, and more education about writing and publishing. 1) www.problogger.net: Need help making your blog payoff? This web site is run by bloggers with years of experience to help improve your site.

2) www.atlantic-pub.com: Do you have a non-fiction book you're trying to get published? Atlantic Publishing Company welcomes new writers, and can be used as a steppingstone toward becoming a professional writer.

3) www.uberlit.com: This agency helps new writers mold and restructure their manuscripts into publishable content. Realize that this company is serious about improving writers and getting their work published, so it does charge a fee for services.

4) www.writersweekly.com: An E-zine focused on helping freelance writers improve their craft and income, this site provides a vast amount of education with loads of information on the current marketplace. Membership is free and provides members with links to different markets, forum discussions, weekly newsletters, and warnings to help safeguard writers.

5) www.thewritermag.com:  One of the best trade magazines in the business, The Writer has been around for 75 years. The magazine is published monthly, and subscribers will not only receive the printed version, but in addition will have full access to The Writer's online database of markets, contests, and literary agent listings.

6) www.winningwriters.com: Mainly focusing on poetry, this site helps writers locate contest and magazines focusing on publishing poetry in multiple genres. Furthermore, the site provides valuable information about how to write and submit poetry.

L. Rigdon believes in supporting her fellow writers. Below is a listing of links to some of her favorite writing communities. Most communities offer information that teaches writers about the craft and other tricks of the trade. Many of these communities also have job boards that are frequently updated.

1) www.freelancewritinggigs.com. This site has proven to be an excellent community for freelance writers, and a good place to look for jobs. While there's plenty of information on the site for new and experienced freelance writers, members can also subscribe to a daily/weekly newsletter.

2) www.aboutfreelancewriting.com. Some of the most useful articles about freelance writing are posted on this site, as well as listings for jobs.

3) www.freelancewriting.com. This is a wonderful site to find jobs, and a fantastic place to find information on magazine submission guidelines and writing contests. It is a completely user-friendly site that allows you to focus your search by clicking into precise categories.

4) www.ivetriedthat.com. If you’ve ever wanted to know whether a company’s promise of earning a fortune while working as an at-home-writer were true, this is one of the sites you should check out. Their whole purpose is to try out sites and services first so that you don’t have to waste the time, money, or energy in the process. Steve and Joe are great guys who are dedicated to their cause, so definitely read through their site.

5) www.fictionfactor.com: A lovely community that is focused on educating and improving writers. It is free to join, and members have access to weekly newsletters filled with up-to-date market information. Furthermore, members can download several fiction and nonfiction e-books for free.
